Black Helicopters

Letter About Dave Pack (continued)

Last winter a Global member from our area told us that a helicopter had followed her and her husband home 65 miles from Sabbath services on February 3rd from Marshall, Michigan at night. At first two helicopters were following them, but one broke away to follow another Church family also travelling home from Marshall when they exited the freeway. The two cars had been travelling together.

The next week the same member told Karen that a helicopter had again followed them home on the Sabbath from Kalamazoo. They had gone to a restaurant to eat after services and when they left it was dark. We told her that we would follow them home the next week to see if it happened again.

That next Sabbath we all went out to eat at a restaurant in Kalamazoo after services. When we left it was dark and our car followed theirs. As soon as we got about a block from the restaurant there were helicopters on both sides of the cars. They were flying about 1/8 mile up and out from the cars, and had red and white flashing lights. They travelled at our exact speed the 35 miles to the other members' home.

We went inside their house and watched out the windows for about an hour while 4 or 5 helicopters hovered and slowly circled their house. They maintained their distance about 1/4 mile away. It was snowing and we were surprised that they would be flying in that kind of weather.

When we left to go home 4 helicopters followed our car the 4-mile distance — 2 on each side of the car. When we got into the house Karen went to the window and looked out. One of the helicopters was coming in very low and two extremely bright, large square lights on its bottom lit up and began to strobe as it flew directly over the house. Karen called Gail and he made it to the window in time to see the yard being lit up as bright as day by the lights. We believe they were doing some kind of electronic scanning.

That night the helicopters stayed for hours slowly circling our house on the horizon. After that first time in the middle of February, the helicopters showed up almost every night and stayed from 2 to 4 hours until about the beginning of June. Now they come less often and usually stay for a shorter time.

The first four months helicopters would follow us everywhere we went at night, even the 2 miles to the grocery store and back. They would follow us on the freeway and even on back roads no matter how many times we changed direction. Now they seem to mostly follow us when we go out of town. We went to Gail's aunt's house a couple weeks ago about 25 miles away in the daytime, and when we left that night the helicopters were waiting and followed us home. The other Church family also continues to experience similar surveillance.

During the day the helicopters fly much lower and instead of circling on the horizon they fly directly over the house. Some of them are regular military helicopters, but most are black with no markings. The helicopters that come in the daytime only show up about once every week or two. We've taken lots of pictures of them. This is a photo of one of the black ones taken on March 25th: [not available]

We have read and been told that the black helicopters are United Nations helicopters. On June 3rd Rush Limbaugh mentioned that a black helicopter had flown over the Montana Freemen. A man called in to say that he flies in them and that they are United Nations aircraft. Rush said, "There you have it, folks, from someone who should know. Now they've brought in the United Nations to fight the Freemen!" The caller said they are mostly used for harassment purposes.

After the helicopters had been here about two months, Gail asked some of the men he works with if they had been seeing any black helicopters. They said no, but one said he had a book on the subject and gave it to us to read. The book began with a fictitious scenario depicting the time of the speculated takeover of the United States by the New World Order government and then detailed the known facts about the existence of black helicopters in the United States.

Jim Keith, Black Helicopters Over America: Strikeforce for the New World Order, pp. 14, 16, 17, 48-49:
"At 12:03 p.m. another violent confrontation took place near the center of town. A routine helicopter scan showed 137 alleged cult members of the right-wing United Church illegally congregated in a cult-owned building located on East Main Street. The head of the cult was Rick Armstrong, a person well-known in the area for his extremist religious views and radio broadcasts warning of the 'Last Days' and the 'Mark of the Beast.'"

"By 1:15 p.m. the cult compound was surrounded by approximately 200 members of the National Police Force. All four entrances to the building were breached simultaneously and the cult members were taken into custody. There were only five fatalities in the raid: Rick Armstrong, the cult leader; Charlene Armstrong, his wife; and three of Armstrong's lieutenants, who attempted to resist arrest. Remaining cult members were marched 1 and 1/2 miles to awaiting trucks, where they were taken to a detainment center in nearby Tulelake, California for further processing."

"I would caution you not to laugh off the possibility of this latter-day 1984 taking place in America. There are more than enough warning signs that suggest that what you have just read is more than a fictional possibility. Those signs are all around us, for those who have the courage to look."

"Unmarked black helicopters are flying over our land in violation of all local and federal laws, carrying on their secret business, and taunting and terrifying the populace. During the latter half of 1994 alone, hundreds of reports from all over the land of these ominous black craft have been circulating by word-of-mouth, via small 'underground' and 'patriot' newspapers, and of special interest computer bulletin boards, although very few of such sightings are reported by the mainstream newspapers or radio and television. These are not easily-dismissed occurrences linked to the lunatic fringe, but are often solid reports sometimes backed up by photos which cannot be disputed."

"One area where there has been a tremendous amount of black helicopter activity in 1994 is Michigan. Mark Koernke (a.k.a. 'Mark from Michigan'), formerly an intelligence analyst and counter-intelligence coordinator for the Army, in the video America in Peril, informs us that, 'Many people have witnessed their activities all over the state... What are the helicopters used for? Control and command, tracking and tracing... for actually tracking your car.'"

Karen wanted to talk to someone about the helicopter surveillance so she called the only person she knew of at the time who would believe her and not freak out about it — Dorian Cook. He said that God would protect us and that if it got too scary we should take a marker and high-light all the verses in Psalms that say God will deliver us, and then read them out loud on our knees. He half-jokingly added that we shouldn't wave a gun out the window.

Dorian told some of the other Cincinnati brethren about it and they called us a lot and gave us encouragement. John Funaro and Jack Cummins even drove all the way up to spend a weekend so they could be witnesses of what was taking place. A few weeks later Dorian and Linda Cook came up to lend us moral support. We drove all over at night so they could watch the helicopters follow us. They did not follow us when we drove Dorian's car, pretty much proving in our minds that they have put some kind of tracking device on our car.

We drove to a National Guard post to see if the helicopters were emanating from there and on the way home an aircraft with a extremely bright light began to follow us. After a few miles we pulled off the road and got out, and it stopped in midair and hovered very low a little way behind our car right over the road. Dorian looked at it through binoculars and said it was a black fixed-wing airplane. It hovered in place for about two minutes and then sort of slunk off to the side and over the woods as if it didn't know what to do. When we got home we could see it through the trees and it stayed for about an hour.

The helicopters had been here about two months when Mr. Pack called us about giving out quotes from Dr. Bacchiocchi's books. Karen tried to tell him about the helicopters, but she only got the first sentence out and he said, "You're talking like a nut." He said that black helicopters don't exist and wouldn't listen to any more. The rest is history.

The tale he carried to Dr. Meredith resulted in him producing three black helicopter videos, black helicopter articles, and black helicopter letters. Up until the time we talked to Mr. Pack only a handful of people knew what was going on. Even the brethren in our own church area did not know who the black helicopter videos were about when they watched them (unless, of course, Mr. Pack called some of them on the phone and told them). We've been falsely accused of spreading "black helicopter" doctrine through the Church. Dr. Meredith did all the spreading. He spread it to every last member. We've been falsely accused of having intellectual vanity that demands we be the center of attention. We've been falsely accused of thinking we're the most important people in the world. We've been falsely accused of driving new people off with tales of black helicopters. We've been falsely accused of being "militia-type" nonconformists who don't pay their taxes and have armed themselves to fight the government.

When we later asked Mr. Pack what his explanation was for the black helicopters we are seeing he said that a demon was tuned in to us and we were seeing apparitions. He said that the fact that we would even look out the window at them was proof that we were walking by sight and not by faith. He said if they were in his yard he wouldn't even look out. To this day Mr. Pack maintains that the helicopters are demon apparitions.

Mr. Dave Pack, letter to us, 24 July 1996:
"I truly sympathize with you both regarding the 'black helicopters' that you feel have been circling your home and tracking you for many months now. Things can seem very real after so long I'm sure."

We know of members in at least six states that have seen these black helicopters near their homes. One family in a far distant state experienced the same electronic scanning or photographing that we did. Both their home and their place of business have had black helicopters over them.

It doesn't take a lot of research to prove that these things are going on. Mock military raids using black helicopters have taken place in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Miami, Key Largo, and most recently Pittsburgh on the night of June 3rd, 1996. We called the newspaper there when we heard of it and had them send us a copy of the newspaper that told about it. It made front-page headlines.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, "Army War Games Are Night Fright," 5 June 1996:
"Helicopters. Soldiers. Gunfire. Explosions.

"The staging of simulated rescue operations may have been routine for the elite Special Operations Forces. For ordinary Joes and Josephines caught unawares, however, it was anything but."

"...soldiers slid down ropes to the ground from hovering Black Hawk troop-transport helicopters."

"The loud blasts people heard were devices simulating the sound of explosives. Blanks were used in the soldiers' weapons, and some small breaching charges were used to blast open doors during the operation."

"But even by dawn's early light, when most everyone was convinced that the region was not under attack, feathers remained ruffled."

"In the Chicago suburbs of Des Plaines, Lemont and Homer, where the Army held similar exercises a year ago, the low-flying helicopters and explosions sent residents running into the streets. One man told a reporter that 'it was the most frightened I've ever been in my life.'"

We do have one hypothetical explanation as to why we are under surveillance if what we are experiencing is not just regular military training procedures. The week before our friends in the Church were followed by helicopters for the first time they had gotten on the mailing list of and were sent literature from a Seventh-day Adventist minister who is trying to expose the Catholic Church's role in the New World Order and their infiltration of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

This minister's name is Bob Trefz, and he and several other disfellowshipped Seventh-day Adventist ministers have done a lot of research about the ecumenical movement. His literature has stated that he is experiencing constant harassment by helicopters and military vehicles, and is constantly on the run. Maybe we are being watched to see if we are harboring him. We believe this man is truly being persecuted. He does not teach people to arm themselves to fight the government. He is warning them of what he believes is coming and tells them to rely on God. (Supposedly he has stated in some of his literature that 40 families supporting his ministry have had their homes broken into. Supposedly some of them had drugs planted during the break-ins, were subsequently falsely arrested, and are currently in prison.)

We watched some of the videos these Seventh-day Adventist minsters have made about what is happening in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and it perfectly parallels what is happening in the Worldwide Church of God. After reading Samuele Bacchiocchi's writings we consider him a Seventh-day Adventist version of K.J. Stavrinides. The Seventh-day Adventist ministers have pegged him as one of the leading Jesuit infiltrators of their church.

Dr. Bacchiocchi teaches at Andrews University — the Seventh-day Adventist world headquarters and ministerial training school. Andrews is so ecumenically overthrown that their university yearbook used pictures of nuns and priests, and even of people giving the papal sign. (Traditional Seventh-day Adventists view the Catholic Church the same way we do.) Yet Dr. Bacchiocchi claimed in an internet letter to Joseph Tkach Jr. that he is not aware of any doctrinal changes in his church.

Dr. Bacchiocchi was trained at the Jesuit Gregorian Pontifical University and he admits that his writings do not agree with traditional Seventh-day Adventist theology in many areas. The disagreements that make us suspect he is a Jesuit infiltrator are these: he encourages people to stop profaning Sunday, he warns against end-time scenarios regarding the beast power, and he promotes the ecumenical movement.

Samuele Bacchiocchi, From Sabbath to Sunday, pp. back cover, 10, 17, 303, 313, 315-316, 317, 320, 321, 8:
"From Sabbath to Sunday has the distinction of being the first book written by a non-Catholic ever to be published by a Pontifical press with the Catholic imprimatur (approval)."

"Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi is the first non-Catholic to graduate from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He received a gold medal from Pope Paul VI for earning the academic distinction of summa cum laude."

"Many well-meaning Christians view Sunday observance as the hour of worship rather than as the holy day of the Lord. Having fulfilled their worship obligations, many will in good conscience spend the rest of their Sunday time engaged either in making money or in seeking pleasure."

"Some people, concerned by this widespread profanation of the Lord's day, are urging for a civil legislation that would outlaw all activities not compatible with the spirit of Sunday."

"The expression 'Lord's day' which first appears as an undisputed Christian designation for Sunday near the end part of the second century, denotes a day which belongs exclusively to the 'Lord.'"

"Should Sunday be viewed as the hour of worship rather than the holy day of rest to the Lord? We stated at the outset that to answer these questions, and solve the pressing problem of the widespread profanation of Sunday, it is indispensable to ascertain both the Biblical basis and the historical genesis of this festivity."

"The Christian who on the Sabbath day is able to detach himself from his work and concerns, dedicating the day to the glory of God and to the service of his fellow beings, demonstrates in a tangible way how divine grace has delivered him from his self-centeredness and has enabled him genuinely to love God and people."

"Sabbath observance in this cosmic age can well be for modern man the fitting expression of a cosmic faith...a faith that would treat the Lord's Day as God's holy day rather than as a holiday."

"[From the preface by Dr. Bacchiocchi's Jesuit professor Vincenzo Manachino:] The strict scientific orientation of the work does not prevent the author from revealing his profound religious and ecumenic concern. Conscious that the history of salvation knows not fractures but continuity, he finds in the rediscovery of the religious values of the Biblical Sabbath, a help to restore to the Lord's Day its ancient sacred character. This is in reality the exhortation that already in the fourth century the bishops addressed to the believers, namely to spend Sunday not in outings or watching shows, but rather to sanctify it by assisting at the eucharistic celebration and by doing acts of mercy (St. Ambrose, Exam. III, 1, 1.)."

Samuele Bacchiocchi, The Advent Hope For Human Hopelessness, pp. 13, 199, 236, 251, 250, 364:
"Much of the discussion in books written by conservative authors centers around such topics as the time of the translation of the Church (before, during, or after the tribulation), the events which are supposed to take place during the final tribulation, and the role that Israel, Russia, the European Economic Community, and China will allegedly play in bringing about the Battle of Armageddon. This excessive preoccupation with spying out the immediate future adversely affects Christian life and practice. It makes sight more important than faith."

"The school of prophetic interpretation known as dispensationalism has successfully popularized a most sensational and detailed scenario of the major final events leading to Armageddon and the Second Advent."

"The irresponsible method of using Scripture to construct a fictitious End-time scenario can cause feverish excitement but ultimately it will only lead to sore disappointments."

"...fanatical sects have weakened the Advent Hope by concentrating on such peripheral factors as dates, contemporary event and hypothetical future political developments..."

"The people who claim to see and to know how the final events are going to unfold generally view this present order as so hopeless that they regard any effort to improve social conditions as futile. Often their concern to 'control' the future is related to their inability to cope with the present."

"A visible indication of the outworking of the Holy Spirit is the breaking down of social, racial, cultural, and religious barriers."

"To be an Adventist means to allow the Holy Spirit to perform the same miracle today of breaking down those divisive social, racial, cultural, and religious barriers which we are so prone to erect. If we truly look forward to living in harmony in the cosmic community of the new earth, then we must be prepared to foster a sense of unity, harmony, and peace among all people. 'Our witness to the reality of heaven will not be taken seriously in the world,' notes Stephen Travis, 'unless we show some signs of belonging to a community which transcends the barriers of race and class — a community committed to costly caring for each other...'"

Dr. Meredith acknowledges that the Jesuits do exist and are used by the Catholic Church to promote the ecumenical movement.

Roderick C. Meredith, letter to the brethren, Global Church News, May-June 1996, p. 11:
"There is no question that the Roman Catholic Church has its tentacles out all over the place, trying to influence world politics — as it has for centuries."

"The Vatican is also heavily involved in promoting ecumenism to bring all 'Christian' churches together — and even other religions. Often used in this ecumenical movement, because of their extensive training in Catholic doctrine and psychological tactics, are the Jesuits — members of the Society of Jesus, a Roman Catholic priestly order (the same ones who conducted the Inquisition)."

Does Dr. Bacchiocchi fit the pattern of a Jesuit?

Michael de Semlyen, All Roads Lead to Rome? The Ecumenical Movement, pp. 127, 128, 129-130:
"The Jesuits, who originally implemented the Counter-Reformation by decree of the Council of Trent, are seen as continuing to do so in the present century with increasing success. Once counsellors to kings such as James II and Louis XIV, who held 'divine rights,' the Jesuits very often master-minded the dramatic events of history by scheming and prompting backstage. Now they are making their comeback in positions of influence among our institutions. Many of them have been able to come out in the open, since in the current climate of spiritual indifference, they have little to hide. However, placed in key positions in religious broadcasting, in educational establishments (including Britain's top schools), even in evangelistic undertakings, they have been re-instated in a way that just decades ago would have seemed unthinkable."

"Notorious in the past, expelled from every country in Europe and banned from residence in England until 1902, the Jesuits have often been described as the 'secret army of the Papacy.' The preface to Edmund Paris' book The Secret History of the Jesuits includes a warning to the church which has been sounded many times in relation to the threat posed by the Counter-Reformation: 'The order of the Society of Jesus was founded by Ignatious Loyola to secretly accomplish two major goals for the Roman Catholic Institution. The first was to obtain universal political power; the second, to establish the universal church. The Reformation had seriously damaged the Roman system. The way forward, apart from the Inquisition, was by infiltration and penetration into every section of life, with the aim of enforcing the canons and doctrines and temporal power of the Pope. To that end Jesuits went to work, secretly infiltrating all Protestant groups, colleges, etc. Today the Jesuits have almost completed that mission."

"In 1551, Secret Instructions, sent from the Council of Trent to the Jesuits in Paris, were intercepted on the person of Thomas Heath, who was a Jesuit professing the highest style of Puritanism. These instructions set forth the most effective way of undermining and destroying the Church of England: 'Ye are not to preach all after one method, but observe the place wherein you come. If Lutherism be prevalent, then preach Calvinism; if Calvinism, then Lutheranism; if in England then either of them, or John Huss's opinions, Anabaptism, or any that are contrary to the Holy See or of St Peter, by which your functions will not be suspected, and yet you may still act on the interest of Mother-Church; there being as the Council are agreed on, no better way to demolish that Church (the Church of England) of heresy, but by mixture of doctrines, and by adding of ceremonies more than at present permitted.' (Albert Close: Rome's Fight for the British Throne, Wycliffe Press, London.)"

"'The most striking characteristic of Jesuit education, as we have already frequently remarked; was and still is, that almost all the persons educated in their colleges consider themselves in a certain way attached to the order, and to the end of their lives work to their utmost for its aggrandizement. And this art of binding to their Society all their disciples, makes the Jesuits powerful and dangerous, especially in those countries where they are adverse to the government or to a class of citizens. We insist on this consideration.'"
